About me

I’m a PhD candidate in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Tulane University, where I study how plants respond to their environment. My research blends fieldwork and genomics to explore the role of phenotypic plasticity in plant growth and survival.

Outside of research, I’m passionate about creating inclusive spaces in science. As a gay woman in STEM, I work to support diversity and mentorship in the field, and I enjoy connecting with students and early-career researchers. I served on the Society for the Study of Evolution (SSE) Graduate Student Advisory Committee and currently hold a position on the SSE Diversity Committee.

When I’m not working on my research, you’ll find me out on a run, a hike, or spending time with my wife. I’m always looking for new ways to engage with nature and make a positive impact!
